Mayor's Arts Awards Creator Award

AWARD CRITERIA:

• Nominees shall be individuals or groups that advance the arts in the City of Camrose
• Nominees may be self-nominated or nominated by a peer
• Nominees must reside, study, work or be active in the City of Camrose at the time of the selection process.
• Creator Award recipients will have done one or more of the following:
• Created works of outstanding artistic merit and achievement
• Created art of a distinctive, powerful artistic voice or character
• Created art that enriches and inspires the City of Camrose art scene
• Nominees may be nominated for recent work or for a body of work produced over time
• Art is broadly conceived to include all genres within the following disciplines: performance, visual, literary, media and design.

AWARD INFORMATION:

• Nominees may be self-nominated or be nominated.
• Nominees/applicants must reside, study, work or be active in the City of Camrose at the time of the selection process.
• Nomination and application deadline is 4:30pm (MDT) on June 30, 2024.
• Nominations for the City of Camrose Mayor’s Arts Awards will be juried by a panel of judges during the adjudication period June 30 – August 15.
• The winner will be notified on August 31, 2024.
• Award recipient and short-listed nominees will be acknowledged at Mayor’s Arts Award event September 19, 2024.
